Learn how to submit new task data
There are currently 111 calibrated ADL tasks standardized for use with the AMPS. An AMPS observation involves having each person evaluated perform at least two personal or domestic ADL tasks that the person has had prior experience performing (e.g., pouring a glass of juice; making a bed; preparing eggs, toast, and coffee, vacuuming the floor; ironing a shirt; getting dressed).
AMPS Project International continually works to standardize and calibrate new AMPS tasks. Raters are encouraged to use new, non-calibrated AMPS tasks during rater calibration in order to facilitate its standardization. Raters who already are calibrated may use new, non-calibrated AMPS tasks, but will need to score the person on at least two other AMPS tasks to be able to generate Graphic Reports. Calibrated raters interested in contributing to the standardization of new, non-calibrated AMPS tasks may follow the guidelines on How to Submit New Task Data.
Please use these instructions if you are a calibrated AMPS rater and wish to submit new task data to AMPS Project International. If you are in the process of calibrating, please refer the instructions for using new tasks in your course handouts.
