Course Hours
Course hours are Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Full attendance for all five days is required. Please plan to stay late on Day 3 to complete calibration.

Rater Calibration
Rater calibration requires that potential raters view and score videotaped School AMPS observations during the course and then complete 10 live observations of students in their typical classroom settings after the course. Rater calibration allows AMPS Project International to determine each rater's severity and whether or not he or she is scoring the School AMPS in a valid and reliable manner.

 Who should take a School AMPS course
 Occupational therapists who:
• evaluate and treat students in a school classroom.
• have clients older than 3 years old.
• are looking for a valid and reliable assessment of schoolwork task performance.
• need to demonstrate effectiveness of intervention strategies.
• are frustrated with the assessments they currently are using in the schools.

Course Costs
The comprehensive registration fee of $900 ($600 for OT students) covers tuition, instruction materials, including the School AMPS manual, and an individual copy of the School AMPS Computer Scoring Software.

Registration
Registration deadline is December 10, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. There will be a $50 late fee for registrations received after the deadline. Registrations will be confirmed by e-mail only once full payment has been received. A registration packet containing all workshop materials and travel information will be sent approximately two weeks prior to the first day of the Workshop.

Cancellation
Refunds less a $20 handling fee will be made for cancellation requests received by AMPS Project International by July 10, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. No cancellation request can be honored after that time. Substitutions will be permitted. We reserve the right to limit the number of participants or cancel the workshop if deemed necessary due to lack of registration. In the event that a minimum number of participants is not registered within 30 days of the workshop date, the workshop will be canceled and all registrants will receive a full refund. We advise that you DO NOT make your airline reservations until 21 days prior to the start of the Workshop.
